A few years back, I was trying to help someone source a couple of high-performance machines for an AI project. Nothing extravagant—just solid workstations that could handle some serious modeling. But every vendor we contacted came back with outrageous prices, complicated packages, or confusing specs. It was ridiculous.
I’d been building computers for years, mostly as a side passion. Over time, I got pretty good at it. I knew what was needed to get consistent performance from hardware under stress.
